Planning and monitoring new domestic violence services

Developing and implementing intensive family support services
Developing intensive family support services to divert vulnerable children and families from the statutory child protection system (Referral for Active Intervention services). This included negotiating referral protocols with the then Department of Child Safety, developing a documented service model, overseeing a State-wide open funding process under tight timeframes, and developing an evaluation framework and tender specifications (working for Department of Communities).
Developing and implementing universal family and children’s services
Developing service models and coordinating implementation of multidisciplinary, universal and targeted early childhood and family support services (Early Years Centres) including cross-government negotiation of co-located and coordinated service provision (working for Department of Communities).
Coordinating complex regulatory and program reform
Driving implementation of regulatory and program reforms in relation to private residential services (boarding housing and hostels), spanning introduction of new consumer protections, tenancy rights, health and disability services, community visitors and building safety requirements. The reforms encompassed a complex constituency of seven government agencies, local governments, private accommodation providers and disability, resident and tenancy advocacy groups (working for Department of the Premier and Cabinet).
