Much of Rachel’s work has been done for clients on a confidential basis, providing drafting assistance to government and non-government clients. Examples include drafting submissions to national consultation processes and preparing policy proposals, regulatory frameworks, planning documents, Cabinet submissions, budget bids, tender proposals and content for websites. Report writing for diverse audiences
Rachel wrote the evaluation reports for Women’s Legal Service Queensland described above, along with associated communication materials and a high level summary of findings for public distribution
In government, Rachel prepared confidential briefings, reports, budget submissions, research papers, tender specifications and communication materials.
Coaching and mentoring
Rachel provides coaching and mentoring in writing, with a focus on using plain English and writing for the intended audience. She can assist in coaching for a range of purposes from professional development through to performance management. Repeat clients are testament to her ability to get results.
