Rachel Healy

Principal

Rachel is a critical thinker and sharp analyst with a passion for social justice.

She spent over a decade working in Queensland Government central agency policy coordination roles and has since spent 14 years as a consultant. Rachel is a regular and trusted researcher and analyst for the community legal sector, the community services sector and government agencies. She is a preferred supplier to the domestic and family violence sector via the WorkUP Queensland professional services panel and a member of the Australian Evaluation Society.

Rachel is highly attuned to the information needs of senior government decision makers, having delivered the popular Mastering the Craft of Advising Government courses for public servants for six years with Anna Moynihan. Having delivered courses to over 1,700 public servants, from new recruits through to executives, the courses continue to be popular across the Queensland Public Sector (click here for more information – include hyperlink to craftofadvisinggovernment.com.au).

As the parent of a child with complex needs, Rachel brings to her work lived experience of disability and complex health care needs and strives to include the diverse voices of lived expertise in her work.

Her services include review and evaluation, research and policy analysis, program design and drafting assistance with reports or submissions.
