Rachel Healy Consulting started in 2009 and has led or contributed to more than 50 projects for numerous clients. Rachel is a public policy specialist, having held senior positions in Queensland Government social policy advisory and coordination roles and, in recent years, training public servants in the craft of advising busy decision makers. We are a preferred supplier to WorkUP Queensland a member in good standing of the Australian Evaluation Society.
Our ’sister-business’, Clarity Consortium, includes four highly skilled professionals all of whom work together regularly on larger projects. Our associates are experienced across diverse fields including research, evaluation, teaching, training, health, futurism and community engagement. With our extensive connections, we can assemble an experienced team that offers the specialist skill mix you require.
We are committed to working with clients to generate creative but practicable research, recommendations or products. We test our ideas with clients so they can be picked up and used to generate value for services, clients and communities.
Our written work is succinct and easy to read (no acronyms, jargon or weasel words!).
We value diversity and the voices of lived expertise and strive to reflect this in our project teams and engagement methods. We are guided by the Australian Evaluation Society Code of Ethics and Guidelines for Ethical Conduct of Evaluations. When we partner with other organisations, we choose small and local suppliers wherever possible. We regularly partner with Outpost Consulting, a Supply Nation business.
If you engage us, you won’t find yourself at a meeting with junior staff. You’ll be dealing with Rachel or an equally experienced associate every step of the way. If we delegate less complicated tasks to junior assistants, we will be transparent about this in our project proposal to you and we will supervise their work closely.
