Coercive control research

Research to understand how community legal centres could best identify and respond to clients experiencing coercive control

The project involved a literature review, subject matter expert interviews, data collection and in-depth interviews with survivors of coercive control from diverse backgrounds.

Our research report put forward practical recommendations for legal centres and government, whilst also noting considerations to inform the potential criminalisation of coercive control in Queensland.
